The film follows Bodil in her everyday life as she contemplates the meaning of health and quality of life when "growing old".
Bodil, 83 was made as a result of the ethnographic film research project Sensory Relations that I developed and directed for Ph.D. Kamilla Nørtoft in relation to her Ph.D. project "Did you imagine that old people could be like this?" : A kaleidoscope of ageing, health and processes of identity in an urban Danish context.
The film won 2nd Place at The Disposable Film Festival - Health. San Francisco, USA.
